About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Anywhere ("we", "us") collects when you use the Anywhere app, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to advertisers and other users of the app. It does not cover the independent practices of the media and CMS partners who operate the screens, or of the app stores.
Information We Collect
Account and identity data: your name, email address, and, depending on how you sign in, the identifier and email that Apple or Google share with us. Booking and campaign data: the screens and placements you view and book, dates, play frequency, prices, and campaign status. Creative data: the images and assets you upload, and the prompts and settings you submit to the AI generation tools, together with the generated results. Payment metadata: a transaction or payment-intent reference and status from our payment processor or the app store; we do not receive or store full card numbers. Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, approximate location (see below), diagnostic and crash data, and basic in-app activity. Support data: the messages you send us.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: create and secure your account and verify sign-in; show you relevant nearby screens on the map; calculate prices, take payment, and create and manage your bookings; run automated and human content review on submitted creatives; generate creatives you request through our AI tools; provide support; detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and maintain and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information.
Location Data
With your permission, we use your device's location while the app is open to center the map and surface screens near you. We do not track your location in the background. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings; the map then falls back to manual search and browsing.
AI Creative Generation
When you generate a creative, the prompt text and related context (such as the target screen name and aspect ratio) are sent to third-party AI model providers that process the request on our behalf to return an image. Generated images are stored in private storage tied to your account and shared onward only if you choose to use one in a booking. We do not use your prompts or creatives to train our own models.
How We Share Information
We share information with: the media and CMS partners for a screen you book (Broadsign, Scala, SignageOS and similar), limited to the approved creative and the schedule needed to play it; payment providers (Stripe for card payments; Apple, Google and RevenueCat for Points purchases); our infrastructure and hosting providers (including our backend platform, Supabase) who process data under contract on our instructions; the AI providers described above; professional advisers, and authorities or other parties where necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, or protect rights and safety; and a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
Payment Information
Card payments are handled by Stripe and Points purchases by the relevant app store and RevenueCat. Those providers collect and process your payment details under their own privacy policies. Anywhere receives only a reference to the transaction and its outcome, not your card or bank credentials.
Data Retention
We keep account and campaign data for as long as your account is active so you can review past campaigns, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution and fraud-prevention purposes. Generated creatives and uploaded assets are retained while your account is active or until you delete them. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data on that schedule; records of completed bookings may be retained in de-identified form for our business records.
Your Rights & Choices
You can review and edit your profile in the app, disable location permission, unlink a sign-in provider, delete individual generated creatives, and permanently delete your account and associated personal data from My Profile. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing; contact us to exercise these. You can opt out of non-essential product emails using the link in those emails.
Security
We use technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; keep your sign-in methods and devices protected.
International Data Transfers
Anywhere uses service providers that may store or process data on servers outside your country, including outside the UAE. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data-protection law.
Children's Privacy
Anywhere is a business advertising tool intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We will update the "last updated" date whenever this Policy changes and, for material changes, give notice in the app. Continuing to use Anywhere after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Policy.
